At SSH Recycling, our mission goes beyond recycling – it’s about redefining what’s possible in sustainable industry. By combining cutting-edge technology with a commitment to reducing carbon emissions, we’re creating a blueprint for a zero-waste future.

The Linwood facility is a pioneering, carbon-negative industrial process, which means it contributes more to carbon reduction than it consumes. In total, for every 1 kilogram of tyre waste processed, approximately 2.7 kilograms of CO₂ emissions are prevented.

Additionally, by replacing materials like polybutadiene, synthetic rubber, pig iron, and styrene-butadiene rubber with recycled alternatives, the Linwood facility helps other high emission industries slash their carbon footprints.

Microturbine Energy System

Equipped with seven 1 MW Capstone microturbines, the facility will generate its own low-carbon power, reducing reliance on traditional energy sources. This self-sufficient energy system will initially run on green gas and transition to green hydrogen as availability increases, further enhancing sustainability.
